Boat company confirm new Tyneside sightseeing tours to start this summer
A new offering will allow locals to get a fresh view of the River Tyne this summer.
New cruise options will take travellers along the River Tyne this summer thanks to a new experience brand.
Launching in August 2026, the brand’s boat, named the Canny Lass, arrived on the river on the second weekend of July.

Tyne Cruises will take sightseers along the river on a 98 seater catamaran vessel.
Starting and ending at the Quayside in Newcastle, cruise options will allow customers to travel further afield to the eastern coast of the region.
Options include shorter opportunities to see the Newcastle and Gateshead riversides with three hour options continuing into the North Sea and the region’s coastline which boasts some amazing wildlife.
Prices start from £18 per person, with child, concession and family ticket options available depending on the route.
Tickets are not yet available from the brand, but updates are consistently posted on Tyne Cruises’ social media platforms.
