The streets where most crime is reported to be taking place across South Tyneside have been revealed following the publication of latest official figures.

January 2021’s statistics, released by the Home Office on its www.police.uk website, cover Northumbria Police’s three policing neighbourhoods across the borough. Incidents are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations. All streets are in South Shields unless otherwise stated. December 2020’s table is available here.

Twenty-four incidents, including 10 anti-social behaviour complaints and eight violence and sexual offences (classed together), were reported to have taken place "on or near" this location.
