Darlington, Leeds, and Edinburgh rehoming centres have more than 80 dogs in search of their families and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Here we have 13 gorgeous pups in need of a home in time for the end of summer - you can find out more at: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

5. Otto (Unlisted Cross)
Otto is a young, intelligent, active dog who enjoys searching for toys and tracking training. After he has had mental stimulation and exercise, he enjoys being with his favourite handlers and having lots of fuss! Otto will need to have continuous physical and mental stimulation in his new home to help meet his needs. | Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Ralfie (Weimaraner Cross)
Ralfie is ready to find an adult only home where his family will be with him throughout the day to help him settle into homelife. He’ll benefit from a family who have experience of larger breeds and they will need to be dedicated for the plenty of training this lad requires. Ralfie needs an active home who can help channel his energy into positive outlets such as training, exercise and enrichment games. | Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Patch (Patterdale Terrier)
Patch is an active lad looking for a family who can provide him with the stimulation he needs physically and mentally. He’ll enjoy fun activities and learning new skills and tricks. He’s a fan of company and struggles on his own so will need someone at home throughout the day. Patch would love for his home to have a garden that is secure for playtimes. | Dogs Trust Darlington

8. Phoebe (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross)
Meet Phoebe! She's seven-years-old and full of fun! She is bursting with energy and likes to be kept busy. She'll need someone around all the time initially to slowly build up a good routine. A calm and predictable routine will be important for Phoebe so she'll need to be the only pet in a home with no young children. Sensible high school aged kids should be fine however. | Dogs Trust Leeds
