The Dogs Trust has so many amazing dogs up for adoption with the hope of finding forever homes for all.
Darlington’s rehoming centre has more than 80 dogs in search of their families and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Here we have 13 cute pups in need of a home in time for Christmas - you can find out more at: https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

9. Moby (Labrador Retriever)
Moby is a looking for a home with a garden for playtimes. He’d like to have company from his family throughout the day and any time needed on his own can be introduced gradually once settled. He is a big lad and eager out on walks so will need confident owners who can help him further his loose lead skills. | Dogs Trust Darlington

10. Brodie (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross)
Brodie is a fun lad who enjoys being out on walks with his humans. He would like to be the only dog in the home but can have walking pals while he is out and about. If children are in the home they will need to be aged 10 and over. Brodie will need to have someone around for him while he settles in to his forever home and gradually build on his leaving hours. | Dogs Trust Darlington

11. Annie (Jack Russell Terrier)
Annie is ready to find her forever home where her family can spend plenty of time with her and keep her company. She adores being with her humans and interacting although can be sensitive to the touch around her stomach. Annie would like for her home to have an outdoor area, which will come in handy for a refresher in house training. | Dogs Trust Darlington

12. Luna (Crossbreed)
Luna is a lively, friendly girl ready to start her next adventure. She’s still learning her basic training skills so will need to continue this with her family. Any time on her own will also need to be introduced gradually; house training should only need a bit of refresher. There are moments when Luna can show appeasing behaviours when she’s not 100% comfortable. For this reason, she’ll be best suited to live with teenagers and for all her family to be understanding of when to give her space. | Dogs Trust Darlington
