Darlington, Leeds, and Edinburgh rehoming centres have more than 80 dogs in search of their families and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

5. Bruno (Mastiff cross)
Bruno is a sweet lad ready to find a quiet home to fully settle and relax in. He’d love for the home to have a garden for him to lounge about in. Bruno is dog social and can live with another. If not, he’d be just as happy to have a doggy friendship group for when out and about. | Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Emmett and Felix (Lhasa Apso)
Emmett and Felix are looking for a quiet retirement pad to settle in to. They can live with secondary school aged kids who will allow them space when they are enjoying their chill out times. The pair have been good around other dogs and may live with another friend that compliments the duo. | Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Shawn (Lurcher)
Shawn is ready to find his forever home with committed owners. He will require on-going training with help from his family. He can be very excitable which can lead to him jumping up and mouthing. For this reason, he would be best to live with older teens – 16yrs+. Someone at home throughout the day would be Shawns dream, to keep him company and entertained. | Dogs Trust Darlington

8. Layla (Australian Cattle Dog Cross)
Layla is a lovely girl who has a sensitive side and will need to have a slow approach to making friends and building relationships. Once she has built a bond with you, she has such a sweet affectionate side. She will need a quiet adult only home that will allow her to settle in at her own pace. | Dogs Trust Darlington
