There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a forever home this February.

13. Spot (Border Collie, one-two years)
Spot is ready to make the best of his life, he is intelligent and is only 18 months old, so absolutely not to be missed! He was due to work on a farm, although he showed not a single bit of interest in being around the sheep! He has been known to worry poultry, so will need a home free of birds. Spot is an active, intelligent, friendly lad. He enjoys walks, games, and running around in a secure garden. He is ready now to find a forever home that will allow him to reach his full potential as a pet, as employment on the farm just is not of interest to him! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

14. Dijon (Labrador Retriever, six years)
Dijon is a sweet, 6-year-old chocolate Labrador. she could join a home with children aged 12+ who are confident around dogs that may jump up when excited. Dijon will need access to a secure garden to get out to the toilet, sniff and play around in. Dijon came into our care with Rose a 3 year old chocolate Labrador, she is also looking for a forever home. She will need someone at home with her most of the time initially and any leaving hours will need to be built up gradually at a pace she is comfortable with. She would like access to the furniture and loves a safe place to snooze. She sleeps all night and has been in a crate, but prefers the sofa! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

15. Missi (Lurcher, six years)
Missi is a beautiful 6yr old Lurcher who forms a very strong, loving bond with her family. She needs to get to know you properly before she'll show her true character but she's well worth the wait. She has a few training needs to she'll need her humans to continue to fantastic work we've been doing with her at the centre. She isn't looking to share with any other pets and prefers to walk in quiet areas where she won't see many dogs as she can be quite vocal. She needs a calm and predictable home life so children won't suit her. An adult only home with a secure garden is a must. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

16. Sasha (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, 6-12 months)
Sasha is looking for a family who are passionate about dog training. She's eager to further her learning and will need extra guidance in some areas. The home should have no other pets and walking areas that are less dog populated will be ideal. This is because she can be reactive towards other dogs. Our training team are here to support Sasha and family with this. With people Sasha has been fabulous, although can be excitable at times. She can live with younger children aged 8yrs+. A home that has no neighbouring dogs and has a garden for playtimes will be ideal. Sasha isn't comfortable with being left and will need someone at home to slowly build her confidence with this. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
