There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a forever home this February.

9. Tucker (Cocker Spaniel Cross, one-two years)
Tucker is a fun young lad who is looking for patient and understanding adopters who will be up for plenty of fun training activities and who are willing to build everything up for him slowly at Tuckers pace. An active family who are up for plenty of fun adventures with Tucker would be ideal. Tucker does lack confidence and can be worried by handling and people approaching him so will be best suited to an adult only home, preferably with not too many visitors. He enjoys being social with other dogs and will always be up for having some walking buddies but will need to be the only pooch in the home as he does prefer to have the home comforts to himself. He is still a young boy so will need to have someone around for him most of the day. Adopters will need to visit Tucker multiple times at the centre before he head off to his home. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

10. Cinnamon (Whippet Cross, six years)
Cinnamon is looking for a home with a family who will give her all the love, time and attention she needs, she is a friendly girl, who is always happy to see you. she'd love her family to be around for most of the day as she doesn't like being alone. Adopters would need to support and train her with 'alone time' and build up any leaving time slowly. Cinnamon will need a home that is free of cats and small animals. Even though she's a pure couch potato, she is also a sighthound and she will chase if something runs! She enjoys going out on adventures, and walks on the lead nicely. She is housetrained. Travels well in the car and is a total cuddle bug, who just loves to be close to her humans. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

11. Otis (Boxer Cross, five years)
Otis is such a fun and sociable dog that will make a great addition to an active family. Once settled in Otis should be fine for a few hours on his own but this will need to be built up slowly. He is lovely to walk and already house trained. He loves his toys is good in the car. What more could you ask for? | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

12. Sasha (Rottweiler Cross, two years)
Sasha is a beautiful 2yr old Rottie Ridgeback Crossbreed. She is very shy around people she doesn't know and seems a little timid with the world in general, but when she's built a bond with you she is playful, loves her toys and super easy to walk! Due to her worries, she'll need a calm, peaceful home where she can develop a good routine. Kids and other pets will create too much unpredictability for her, so she must be the only pet in an adult home, although very calm and sensible older teens may be considered. A secure garden is vital so she has somewhere to play off-lead. She isn't used to being left alone so will need someone around all the time initially. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
