There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

9. Bunty
Bunty is a lovely girl ready to find her forever home. For fans of larger breeds, she will be a joy to welcome to the family. She can live with older teens 16yrs+ who will allow her space when needed. She does have a lovely nature but can be overwhelmed by new faces so would like a home with minimal visitors. A home where Bunty can have her own space to relax in would be ideal. Bunty is a fan of her food and prefers her own space whilst eating. She is on the lookout for a home where she will be the only pampered pooch but will enjoy having walking buddies while out on her adventures. Bunty has previously been ok finding a comfy spot and having a snooze when her family need to pop out and she is housetrained | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

10. George & Spud (Crossbreeds, nine years)
George is looking for a forever home with his best bud Spud. They have a lovely bond together and we would love for them to go into the next chapter of their lives with each other. They arrived in our care with limited history so may need a refresher with training in the home such as time alone been built up gradually. This will mean a family member being present most of the day to help them settle in. They can live with older primary school aged children who understand when they’d still like their chill time. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

11. Snoopy (Beagle Cross, one-two years)
Snoopy is looking for a home with active owners who can keep him company and entertained throughout the day. He enjoys keeping busy so brushing up on his training skills, carrying out enrichment games and going on lots of adventures will keep him in a happy mind set. Snoopy can become easily excited and has a bouncy nature so would like to brush up on his basic manners. Although excitable he does have a sensitive side and would like his home environment to be quite quiet. He can live with secondary school aged children. Snoopy would like to further his social skills with other dogs as he can be forward on introductions. He may share the home with another pending a successful introduction. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

12. Mini Rose (Siberian Husky Cross, two-five years)
Mini Rose can live with children of secondary school age. Once settled into her new home, Mini Rose will require time spent alone or apart to be built up at a pace she is comfortable with. She prefers not be alone and is much happier with the company of another dog in the home. Mini can use her voice when visitors enter the home, although as soon as they greet her, she quietens down. Mini Rose loves treats, playing fetch and going on long walks, she has enjoyed many walks in lake district and will happily settle down for a pub lunch to break up her adventure. Mini Rose travels well in the car, She can pull on the lead, she wears a harness and when she gets going, walks without pulling. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
