There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

13. Tilly (Patterdale Terrier Cross, two years)
Tilly is a delightful little crossbreed terrier, she’d love to have a forever home with someone who would continue her training, she knows a few basic commands such as sit & paw. She would benefit from loose lead walking training as she can pull on the lead, her recall could also do with additional training. She likes treats so this will encourage her when rewarded. She travels well in the car and can’t wait to get out on new adventures and make new memories. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

14. Misty (Crossbreed, eight years)
Misty is an 8-year-old Jack Russell cross. He is a fun and friendly boy, although as he can be worried by handling, he is looking for an adult only home. He enjoys his walks but can be reactive towards other dogs if they get too close, so needs to be walked in quieter areas and to be the only dog in the home. Misty needs a home with a secure and private garden. He is not used to being left so will need his owners around all the time initially until he is settled in. Misty is housetrained. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

15. Zeus (American Bulldog Cross, five-seven years)
Zeus is the cutest most sweet boy. The way to this boys heart is through his toys. When the toys come out Zeus' personality just shines through. This is a good way to start your budding friendship! Zeus likes to lean in for some attention and a fuss and likes a cuddle on the sofa if given the chance. He settles well in the house, he is fully housetrained and his favourite past time is stretching out on his bed or investigating the garden. He also loves to play tug games. Zeus is on medication to help his skin due to allergies; this will be something he will be needing long term | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

16. Tillie (Lurcher Cross, two-five years)
Tillie is ready to find her forever home where she can receive all the attention she craves. She struggles when left alone and will need someone to keep her company and help her settle into the home. She can be worried at times and will benefit greatly from building up her confidence with a patient family. For this reason, she won’t appreciate the busy hands of very young children and would be more suited to secondary school aged kids. As it can take time for Tillie to warm to new faces, her family will be invited to meet her at the centre a few times before heading home. Quieter walking routes where she can sniff and explore at ease, on the lead, should be close to the home as Tillie requires some further work of becoming more comfortable in the car. Tillie is much more of a fan of people and would like to be the only dog in the house. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
