There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

5. Bo (German Shepherd, two years)
Bo is a handsome 2yr old German Shepherd. He is very classic of his breed, full of energy and super smart. He will need very active adopters who are keen to do plenty of training with him and keep him busy. He'll need a secure garden to burn off his energy and due to his size and strength needs an adult only home. He needs to work on his dog socialising as he's currently quite unsure and can bark when he sees them. This means he'll need to be the only pet in his home and will need to be walked in quiet areas until he's gained more confidence. He'll also need someone around all the time to properly settle him in and very slowly build up any time being left alone. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

6. Guinness (Lurcher, one year)
Guinness is an eye catching rough coat Lurcher, Guinness is one year old and is on the search for his PAWfect match, so he can find his forever home. Guinness requires a bit of a confidence boost, and someone dedicated to ensuring they develop a lifelong bond with him, he will need gain trust in you and then can you support him to develop into a well-rounded adult with the use of positive reinforcement training. Guinness can be shy and unsure of new situations, he has always lived with his litter brother Pup & their father. Guinness could live more confident dog. We feel that this would help with his ongoing development. Children within the home would need to be of secondary school age. Guinness can-not live with cats, small furies, or poultry. He is a sighthound and does have prey drive. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

7. Zula (Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois), one year)
She needs an active home with a family who are interested and happy to be involved in high energy activities to meet her physical and mental needs. Owners with experience of the Malinois breed or active working breeds would be beneficial. Zula can live with older children 14 yrs plus who are comfortable around large excitable dogs. She could also live with a neutered male dog of similar size providing they have lived with a dog before. A home with a secure garden would be beneficial to allow her to work on recall training in a safe space. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

8. Blake (German Shepherd, under six months)
Blake is a sweet young lad who is looking for a family that will be able to dedicate plenty of time to him and his training. He will need to be the only pooch in the home and to be walked in quiet areas while is doggy social skills are worked on as he can react to dogs and be unsure of how to behave. It would be ideal if Blake could have a secure garden to have some off lead play time as he will need to be kept on lead while he is out on his walks. He will need to have someone around with him to help him settle into his home life and introduce any time spent alone very gradually as he has struggled to be left in the past. Blake is a bouncy boy and is going to be a big lad so will be best suited to living with older teens who are aged 15 and above that are used to dogs who can't always keep all four paws on the floor. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
