There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

9. Missi (Lurcher, six years)
Everyone who knows Missi absolutely adores her! She is a very sweet, loving and playful girl. She loves lots of attention and will snuggle on the sofa with you all day! She is also great fun to train and she's already learned lots and would love to learn more. Missi's perfect new family will be active adults who have an interest in dog training, enjoy peaceful walks, and love LOTS of sofa snuggles! All you need to do is give her a little space initially to let her come round in her own time. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

10. Red (Lurcher Cross, two-five years)
This food loving Lurcher is hoping to earn a few extra treats whilst furthering his training with his forever family. He enjoys keeping active and will benefit from having positive outlets to channel that energy. Mental enrichment and food activity games will be a great way to keep him entertained. Red is looking forward to spending days out with his family exploring different smells and seeing the sights. He’s good travelling in the car and will be up for a trip out in the car. Red is going to make a fabulous addition to the family! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

11. Rolo (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, one year)
Handsome Rolo is a 1yr old Staffy Crossbreed who has had quite a rough start to his short life. He arrived with us with with a broken leg but following surgery he's now all healed up and ready to make a new start. He will need and adult only home where he'll be the only pet as his training is still ongoing and too many distractions will make it more difficult for him to settle. He'll need a secure garden to burn off energy and finish his housetraining. His adopters must understand that due to his previous injury he won't be a dog who can go for long walking adventures and will keep him busy in other fun ways like training. He does enjoy gentle walks though and our team will suggest the best activities for him. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

12. Bella (Spanish Mastiff, two years)
Big is beautiful and Bella is just that! She a lovely girl, who is looking for forever home. Bella would like someone at home for a majority of the day while she settles in and then time alone can be built up gradually. Bella is just over 2 years old and is looking for an active home, who are used to large dogs. She would like to be the only dog in the house and any children in the home would need to be over the age of 12 and confident with large breeds. Bella would like a secure garden at her forever home, as she loves to play and go zoomies. Bella has access to a summer house in her current home and choses to spend time outside on warmer days throughout the summer | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
