There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 21 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

9. Dijon (Labrador, six years)
Dijon has previously enjoyed the company of other dogs on her walks, and enjoyed free time playing with Rose (another Choc lab) in a secure paddock, she is a sociable lass, although in her foster home, she was very dominant of the male dog within the home and this has helped us with the decision that she should be the only dog in the home. Dijon knows a few basic commands, but is always looking to please, she loves treats and has played with a few soft toys, which she seems to prefer to rope toys etc. She has been clean in her foster home indicating that she is fully toilet-trained. She will need adopters who are committed to continuing her training. She is a little shy when you first meet her, but as soon as she gets to know you, she seeks affection and her tail doesn't stop wagging. We would love to see her going on adventures and getting the love she deserves. It is clear that Dijon has had multiple litters , she has had surgery and recovered from entropion of the eye. Dijon will be ready to go home on the day that you meet her. Add her to your favourites, Then suggest dogs from your favourites, so we can see the dogs you are interested in. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

10. Effie (Crossbreed, two-five years)
Beautiful Effie is ready to settle down into home life with a patient family. She can be reserved on first introductions but with time comes out of her shell and enjoys being in your company. She can live with children aged 11 years and over. Effie gains confidence when around other dogs and may benefit from living with another. She would like her family to be around most of the time to keep her company and help with her basic training. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

11. Spud (Jack Russell Cross, two years)
Spud is a sweet 2-year-old little boy who has a massive love for food. He can be a little snatchy when taking treats so his family will need to be mindful of this when offering food. Spud will enjoy going out for walks to explore with his family but doesn't seem to have a lot of experience walking on a lead so he may need time to get used to this before going on longer walks. Spud will be such a fun little addition to a family home. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

12. Bella (Bulldog Cross, nine months)
Bella is such a sweet girl who has had quite a busy past and would like for a more relaxed lifestyle. She does still enjoy being out and about and really enjoys using her snoot out on walks. Bella is 9 months and would like her family to carry on her basic training. She enjoys her toy time including a game of tug. Bella is going to make a wonderful addition to the family. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
