Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 45 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.

The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.

9. Maggie (Lurcher Cross)

Maggie is such a lovely young lady but a bit of a worrier who can be shy with new faces and timid in new situations. Once she builds up a relationship with people she has a bouncy, cheeky side as you would expect from a young lurcher. She loves a fuss once she has made friends.
