Drone footage shows extensive damage following a crane collapse at the Port of Tyne.
Drone footage has revealed the extent of the damage following a ship colliding with a crane at the Port of Tyne on Sunday afternoon (July 19).
The footage, which was captured by Tyne To Tarn, shows the crane toppled over and lying on the berthed container ship BG Orange.
One man sustained injuries that are believed not to be life-threatening as a result of the incident.
He was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI), in Newcastle, for treatment - where he remains.
Northumbria Police have confirmed that an investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the incident.
