The event is looking for people to share their memories of family traditions and launch day superstitions over a cup of tea.

The Society is looking to record important parts of the region’s shipyard heritage such as the sayings, family traditions, and good luck beliefs that got passed around the yard and kitchen table.

The event is open to anyone who worked in the yards or their family members.

Organisers have stated that free tea and biscuits will be provided and travel expenses paid.

Spaces are limited so to secure your place, you should email: [email protected] or call: 07561 102469.
