'Doggy MOT!’ - A free first come, first served vet service is coming to South Shields
Free consultations will be available for dogs, cats and small mammals such as hamsters and gerbils.
South Tyneside animal lovers will be able to have their pets looked over by a vet, free of charge, at an event in the coming days.
On Tuesday, September 15 between the hours of 10am and 3pm, free consultations will be available for dogs, cats and small mammals such as hamsters and gerbils at the Temple Park Centre on John Reid Road in South Shields.
A “doggy MOT” tent with a vet nurse will also be offering health checks and small procedures for your furry friends, including opportunities for nail clipping and ear cleaning.
The drop-in services are carried out on a first come, first served basis.
The event comes courtesy of the Sunderland, Hartlepool & South Tyneside branch of the RSPCA and it is sponsored by Bridge Referrals Veterinary Centre which is based in Boldon Business Centre.
