Mother sent snaps of naked daughter with cruel message by angry South Shields man

A mother was sent snaps of her naked daughter with a cruel message by a South Shields man who got angry the victim was seeing other men.
A South Tyneside man sent a former friend’s mother photos of her daughter naked when she told him she was dating other men – leaving his victim suicidal.
Angry Ethan Filcher, 25, posted two images via Facebook Messenger and said in a message to the mother she should know what her child was up to, a court heard.
Cruel message to victim’s mum
Filcher, of Ethel Terrace, South Shields, wrote: “Evening, I’d just like to inform you that this is what your daughter is getting up to for gifts or money.”
And he added: “And, hey, I’d like to know if my daughter was whoring herself out, too. Good evening.”
The offender has now been branded “despicable” by borough magistrates, who told him to reflect on the pain and suffering he had caused.
They heard his victim had considered killing herself and her mental health had been affected.
The court was told the pair struck up contact on social media and she agreed to send Filcher nude photos and videos of her in exchange for gifts.
But he later exploded in anger when she demanded cash and informed him she was dating other men, just as he was about to ask her out.
Victim sent nude images and videos - but then came threats
Prosecutor Jasmine Dodd said: “In October, he followed her on Instagram.
“It started out as normal conversation and him willingly agreeing to send gifts but that changed suddenly to asking for nude images.
“She sent him four nude videos and three nude photos. At the beginning of January, he threatened to send them to her place of work and family.
“He didn’t follow through but on January 17 he did. He sent her mum two nude photos of her.
“This was sent to the mother, probably the worst person to send these images to.
“He said that it was a courtesy, he said this was the reason he sent these images to her mum.
“You can’t get anything worse than suicidal thoughts because of this offence.”
Filcher pleaded guilty to a charge of intentionally sharing an intimate photo without consent and not reasonably believing there was consent.
He has no previous convictions but was given a caution by police in Liverpool and ordered out of the city for harassment of a female.
John Williams, defending, said: “They struck up a conversation online.
“The victim was asking him for gifts and in exchange, she sent him the videos and photos. She was a willing participant.
“She then asked for money, which he refused to give. She said that she was seeing other males, and he accepts that he was angry.
“He wanted to take this woman out. He did it because he was angry at her reaction. He sent the photos to her mum when he knew he shouldn’t do that.
“What he did was disgraceful, he shouldn’t have sent the photos to her mother. He says he’s made a fool of himself by agreeing to the photographs.”
Magistrates adjourned the case for reports and granted Filcher unconditional bail to be sentenced at the same court on Thursday, May 14.
