Motorcyclist taken to hospital following crash as police appeal for witnesses

Emergency services were called to Grange Terrace at around 8.10pm on Tuesday, June 15, to reports of a collision.
A 47-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hide AdThe road was closed for around 90 minutes while officers carried out inquiries at the scene.
A force spokesman said: “At about 8.10pm on Tuesday evening we received a report of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Grange Terrace in East Boldon.
"Emergency services attended the scene and the 47-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
"The road was closed for a short time to allow officers to carry out enquiries but was re-opened at about 9.35pm.
