Eleven-year-old Charlie and Logan Jackson, nine, are running 22 laps around their back garden every day for the next two months, in memory of South Shields couple Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry.
Their efforts will come to a close on Friday, May 22 - the third anniversary of the Manchester Arena terror attack which tragically took the lives of Chloe, 17, and Liam, 19 in 2017.

Hide AdCharlie and Logan, who live in Westerhope, Newcastle, are relatives of Chloe’s family and help raise money for the trust every year with a stand at the Great North Run.

Setting off on Saturday, March 28, the boys will have run 49 miles by the end of the challenge - completing 22 laps (0.88 miles) each day.
“The boys wanted to do something positive with their time in lockdown,” said mum Wendy, who is originally from South Shields.
“It’s a way of keeping them active and raising the profile of the trust.”

Hide AdCharlie and Logan are hoping to raise £220 for the trust, which supports other young people to achieve their dreams in performance and sport.

They have been pictured taking part in their South Shields Football Club strips and on Sunday, April 5, Charlie - a member of Elswick Harriers – completed his laps in a Zorb bodysuit.
“They know how much the trust means to the family, they are really excited about how much they have raised.”
A spokesperson for the Together Forever trust commented: “We the trust want to thank Charlie and Logan so much for their love support and pure dedication to the Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust at this difficult challenging time for everyone.
