Chris and Rosie Ramsey fans crash Amazon page while pre-ordering book based on podcast

On Friday, January 31, Chris and Rosie Ramsey announced that their new book, based on the Sh**ged, Married, Annoyed podcast, was available for pre-order.

Hide AdSet to be published by Michael Joseph on September 3 this year, it will follow in the podcasts footsteps covering all aspects of life. On social media, a spokesperson for Penguin Books said the book “is a laugh-out loud exploration of the highs and lows of dating, relationships, marriage and everything in between.”
At the time of the announcement, Rosie shared her excitement on Twitter saying: “I can’t quite believe I’m writing this.”
Shortly after, fans flocked to the online stores in the hopes of getting their hands on a copy. So many at once, in fact, that they momentarily crashed the Amazon page which Chris said was “amazing.”

Hide AdWHSmith ran out of their allocation for the book which was later resolved when more signed copies were added to the website. Signed copies were also made available from Waterstones.
In response, the comedian tweeted: “There will be more signed copies on there soon... I can feel my wrist hurting already! (FROM THE SIGNING...) You're all amazing! Thanks so much.”
Chris and Rosie will also record an Audio version of the book which can be pre-ordered online along with the option of an Ebook for those who prefer to read electronically.

Hide AdChris tweeted: “So that’s a book from a podcast that’s getting recorded for an audiobook... nose bleed anyone?”
This month, the couple have been nominated for awards for their hugely popular podcast.
On Sunday, January 5, it was nominated for the best podcast prize at 2020’s Global Awards. Soon after, on Thursday, January 16, they were recognised in the Funniest Show category at the The Audio & Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS).
