Chris Ramsey and Rosie Ramsey win Bronze award at UK ARIAS for Funniest Show

The couple were awarded the Bronze prize for Funniest Show at the glittering ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, March 4.

Their weekly podcast, S*****d Married Annoyed, launched last year and has since built-up a cult audience with millions of streams worldwide.

In their cateogry, Elis James and John Robins of BBC Radio 5 Live took the Gold award, while James Veitch’s Contractual Obligation, on BBC Radio 4, was given Silver.

Chris and Rosie took to social media to thank the fans, affectionately known as SMAs and DAs for their support since the podcast’s launch.

Posting a picture from the ceremony at the London Palladium on Instagram, Chris said: “Got a Bronze ARIAS Award with the CQSP tonight. Proper chuffed!

“Thanks to everyone who listens to the podcast!”

Rosie added on Twitter: “We got a bronze! Very proud indeed!

“Huge thanks to all of you for listening each week. We genuinely love you.”

S*****d Married Annoyed is released every Friday and features questions from the public, office polls and a segment where the married couple discuss their long-running beefs with eachother on air.

Chris and Rosie’s podcast tour, announced last week, will come to Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on the weekend of the Great North Run – Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13.

The pair also have plans to release a book later this year.
