At the time, Chris and Rosie’s category included competition from the Love Island podcast and Here We Go Again with Stacy Solomon but these have now been pipped to the post as the shortlist has been revealed.

One month later, on Wednesday, February 5, Chris took to his Twitter account to announce the news. He tweeted: “I think we've made the shortlist!” while Rosie replied: “I think you’re right!”

The show now faces less competition in the form of My Dad Wrote A Porno, Off Menu, YouTuber News and The Chris Moyles Show Podcast.

Their podcast was launched in 2019, discussing the milestones and pitfalls and marriage and parenting, while also calling for listeners to send in their questions, stories and office polls in for discussion.

More than forty-five episodes have been released since then and the show has now even been made into a book themed around the show set to be released in summer of 2020.

Signed versions of the publication were made available but had sold out after the pre-order scaled up the Amazon best sellers list.

On Wednesday, February 5, Chris took to his Twitter account at @IAmChrisRamsey to reassure his fans that more signed copies had been released, subject to availability.

At the time of the initial announcement for their nomination in the Global Awards, Rosie tweted: “We’ve been nominated for an award! We need your votes please SMAs. Side note … I used to work for Global so to be nominated for their awards feels a bit surreal!

“It’s like one of my ex boyfriends remembering me … finally!”

The Global Awards is now in its third year and it celebrates the famous faces of music, news and entertainment worlds. This year’s ceremony is set to take place in London on Thursday, March 5 where Sh**ged Married Annoyed could win.
