Little Mix release new music video for Confetti ahead of Brit Awards ceremony

Little Mix look unrecognisable as their male alter-egos in new music video Confetti, which was released ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

The song features US rapper Saweetie and sees the band hit the dancefloor as themselves, but also as their male alter-egos Pez, Lenny and J-Dog.

The video already has more than three million views on YouTube at the time of writing.

Its release comes after former member Jesy Nelson confirmed her departure from the group last December.

Announcing her exit to fans on social media, band members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, both from South Shields, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, said they were supportive of Jesy’s decision to do “what is right for her mental health and well-being”.

They confirmed they would continue as a three-piece act, adding they were “still very much enjoying” their Little Mix journey and not “ready for it to be over”.

Little Mix are due to play Newcastle’ Utilita Arena on Friday, April 15, 2022 and Saturday, April 16, 2022 after pushing back their ‘Confetti’ tour due to the pandemic.

The tour will see them joined by support act Since September, a group Little Mix worked to put together through the BBC One show The Search, presented by South Shields comedian Chris Ramsey.

Little Mix’s album Confetti was released in November and features the No.1 hit Sweet Melody along with singles Break Up Song and Holiday.

The ceremony will take place on May 11.
