Chloe, 17 and Liam, 19, were among the 22 people who tragically lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bomb attack in May 2017.
As a lasting legacy to the young couple, a Together Forever memorial bench is situated outside South Shields Town Hall but has been missing for a couple of weeks.

A post on the Chloe and Liam Together Forever Trust’s Facebook page says : “A huge thank you to South Tyneside Council, Taurus Engineering, Metal Treat and Elite powder coaters for your amazing support. Our memorial bench is now fully refurbished and back in place.”
The trust – which was founded by Chloe’s parents, Lisa and Mark Rutherford and Liam’s mum, Caroline Curry, in memory of the pair – recently announced it supported 36 young people in the borough during 2020, handing out a combined total of more than £50,000 in bursaries.
Chloe was a talented performer and Liam was a gifted cricketer who played for Marsden Cricket Club.
