Platinum Jubilee celebrations in South Tyneside: Bank holiday events continue for Queen's milestone
The sun is shining and South Tyneside families are continuing to enjoy the festivities for Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

A four-day bank holiday is underway across the nation in recognition of the milestone occasion, with celebrations taking place up and down the country between Thursday, June 2 and Sunday, June 5.
So as you toast the Queen with a cuppa and cake – or something stronger – and fly the flags in her honour, take a look at this selection of pictures from the second day of Platinum Jubilee celebrations across the borough.
