Rachael House, 27, has been taking photographs as a hobby for years, with a keen focus on beauty spots in and around South Shields.
But it was only when lockdown hit that she decided to turn her passion for the area into a creative business.

Hide AdRachael founded SandDancer Girl in July selling unique prints and photographs which capture landmarks such as The Groyne, ‘The Weebles’ and Marsden Rock.
Rachael, from Coleridge Avenue, said: “I have been doing photography for a while now as a hobby but during lockdown I decided I would create my own business.
"I love South Shields and thought it would be nice to create artwork inspired by the town.”
Some of her most popular prints are the black and white silhouettes of South Shields landmarks which have gained fans around the world – with orders coming from as far as Australia.

Hide AdBut support has also been shown closer to home with a number of South Shields businesses displaying and selling Rachael’s artwork.
Rachael, who works as a paraplanner, said: “People have loved it.
“South Shields business, One More Than Two Brew, approached me and said they would be interested in displaying my artwork and selling it there as well.
"And I am also working with the Red Hut fish and chip shop who are displaying my work. I am really chuffed and overwhelmed by it all.”
