South Shields Specsavers shows its support for Chris Ramsey ahead of Strictly Come Dancing quarter-finals

Rosie Ramsey and Specsavers staff support Chris in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Specsavers, on King Street, welcomed Chris’s wife Rosie and son Robin into the store last week.

Together with staff, Rosie posed for pictures encouraging punters to vote ahead of the next live show.

The comedian was voted through to week 11 of Strictly with partner Karen Hauer on Sunday, November 24 after performing a Paso Doble.

Melanie Moore, store manager at Specsavers in South Shields, said: “Chris and Rosie and their lovely family are regular customers and it is always lovely to see them.

“We were delighted when Rosie popped in as we are big fans of Chris and Strictly – we are all rooting for Chris and his dance partner Karen.

“We have our fingers crossed that he will bring the Glitterball back to South Shields.”
