The South Tyneside street where 11 winners have pocketed cash in the Postcode Lottery

Eleven neighbours in Jarrow are feeling ‘grand’ – thanks to their postcode.
Eleven people, who live in Cedar Drive, each scooped a cash prize in the People’s Postcode Lottery daily prize winner on Friday May 15 when NE32 4BF was announced as a the winner.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her best wishes, saying: “A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize in Jarrow.
“I hope the win will help lift their spirits and I hope they are able to treat themselves to something special with the cash.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of lottery have raised over £500m to date for thousands of good causes.
Friday's draw was promoted by the NSPCC – which has received more than £3.9m in funding from the lottery to help support its mission to end child abuse and neglect.
