Singing group looking for new members after moving to new rehersal home in Jarrow
An a cappella group moving to Jarrow are looking for new members.
A Tyneside based singing group is looking for new members after moving from its previous rehearsal site.
After leaving their previous practice spot in Cleadon, Compass A Cappella are now based at St Matthew’s Church Hall in Jarrow.
As part of the move, the team are looking to encourage new members to their group.
They claim anyone wanting to learn more or get involved doesn’t need to have an existing knowledge of reading music.
New members are also told to expect plenty of support from the musical team and fellow choir members with teaching tracks on hand to support solo learning of songs.
Anyone interested can meet the team at their new Jarrow base on Tuesdays throughout the year. Sessions usually run between 7.30pm and 9.45pm.
The group say they are mainly looking for men interested in singing melody or baritone harmony and women with low to medium-range voices.
