South Shields Market to host pop-up sessions for local musicians, buskers and performers
Pop-up music sessions and live portraits are coming to South Shields Market.
The organisers of South Shields Market have revealed that pop-up music sessions and live portraits are coming to the town centre.
On Saturday, November 7, the market will host its Market Jam, an open pop-up music session for local musicians, buskers and performers.

Hannah Graham, who featured at last week’s market, will also be returning to do her live portraits.
There will also be the regular market traders and Northern Bistro will be on hand with their hot drinks and sweet bakes.
The entertainment at South Shields Market follows funding from Kim McGuinness, the North East Mayor, to encourage more visitors to South Shields town centre.
It is part of an investment into the North East’s high streets, with each of the seven local authorities receiving £100,000 to support local solutions in their areas.
