South Shields set to host the British Cycling Cyclo-Cross National Championships
The British Cycling Cyclo-Cross National Championships are coming to South Shields.
South Shields is set to play host to the British Cycling Cyclo-Cross National Championships at Gypsies Green this weekend (Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11).
The event, which is hosted by South Shields Velo Cycling Club, will see the best riders in the country battle it out on a very challenging course as riders look to complete as many laps as they can during a specific time.
The Cycling Club has previously hosted a Cyclo-Cross National Trophy series; however, this will be the first time that the Nationals have been held in South Shields.
