Members of the public are asked to fill a shoebox with thoughtful gifts and donate to the charity so they can give them out to someone who may feel lonely this Christmas.

All you need to do to get involved is the following:

  • Find and wrap a shoebox, with the lid separate.
  • Fill that shoebox with gifts such as sweet treats, puzzles, toiletries, gloves, tea/coffee and more.
  • Label the shoebox so ACTS staff know if it is for a man, woman, or unisex.
  • Drop it off at Age Concern Tyneside South, Dora Dixon House, 29 Beach Road, South Shields, NE33 2QU.

All donations must be submitted by 12pm on Friday, December 11.
