The Chases Paul Sinha will be performing as part of the festival.

More than 2,000 tickets have been snapped up for the dozen acts featured on the bill, from big names like Johnny Vegas and Britain’s Got Talent winner ‘Lost Voice Guy’ Lee Ridley, to the cream of up-and-coming talent, like Brennan Reece, Angela Barnes and Scott Bennet.

The festival runs at The Customs House in Mill Dam, South Shields, from tomorrow and runs until to Saturday, August 5.

Jason said: “I’m absolutely buzzing that the festival is about to start and this year is going to be our best ever. Thousands of tickets have already gone and we’ve got some of the best acts in the country. I can’t wait!”

The festival kicks off tomorrow with Gary Delaney: Work in Progress.

The regular Mock the Week panellist, who has also appeared on Live at the Apollo, is known for his one-liners and is now testing jokes for his next tour.
