South Tyneside Council searches for school minibus drivers
A search is on to find minibus drivers to help youngsters get to and from school in South Tyneside.
South Tyneside Council is looking for drivers to help children and young people get safely to and from school.
The roles are open to drivers with a UK Category D1 driving licence (who can legally drive a 17-seater minibus).

School transport drivers are needed for the Fleet Services team, who work alongside passenger assistants.
There are two permanent positions available, working 20 hours per week during term time, plus five days.
You can find out more and apply for the permanent roles, visit www.northeastjobs.org.uk.
If you like the sound of the role but need more flexibility, the council also has three casual positions available, working on an as-and-when-required basis.
A South Tyneside Council spokesperson said: “Whether you're looking for a permanent position or something more flexible, this is a great opportunity to join our team and make a difference to children and young people in South Tyneside.”
