'Thank you for your understanding' - Hebburn charity gives donation advice as busiest time of year gets underway
A Hebburn charity is asking for food donations only as the summer holidays get underway.
A Hebburn charity have asked for specific donations at the start of their busiest period of the year.
Earlier in July Hebburn Helps told the Gazette the summer holidays are one of the most stressful points in the calendar as families look to provide three meals every day rather than the usual two during school term time.

As a result, a plea from the charity was published this week asking for certain items.
Posting to social media, Hebburn Helps said: “At the moment, we need a little time to sort through everything we've been given and make some much-needed space.
“Because of this, we kindly ask that you do not bring any non-food donations until further notice.
“We are still accepting food donations, as these go straight back out to support local people and families in need.
“Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and for continuing to support our community.”
