Thanks for the memories

The president of the learning disability charity Mencap has been terminally ill, and urged Parliament to change the law on assisted dying.

However, as Brian Rix he performed in a series of post-war ‘Whitehall farce comedies’ in so doing, lighting up the London stage, not to mention Sunday night television.
