This Tuesday was International Workers Memorial Day, a day when we come together to commemorate those who have died in the workplace or who have been struck by injury or sickness at work.
This week, I voted in Parliament to scrap the two-child benefit limit. As a result, 450,000 children will now be lifted out of poverty, 2,370 of whom live in South Shields.
