Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter has a number of animals that are looking for their forever home.
The shelter, which was established in 1896, helps animals that are unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned - as well as reuniting lost animals with their owners and finding loving new homes for those who are no longer wanted.
Here are 15 cute animals who are in need of a home - you can find out more at: https://www.dogandcatshelter.com/.

7. Franklin
Franklin is a lovely and friendly chap who loves a good explore of his surroundings! He loves to say hello to his human friends and have a good wander of our cattery to check out what’s going on. He loves treats and being made a fuss of and also enjoys having a brush. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

8. Reuben (American Bulldog cross)
Reuben is big lad with a big heart and a big personality. He seems to have little idea of his size and therefore plays like a small pup. Reuben is fun and full-on and can be boisterous and silly, but means no harm – he is just full to the brim of love and playfulness. Reuben can be vocal when he sees another dog, but once up close has shown great manners. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
