5. Harper (Lurcher)
Harper arrived into care in a bit of a sorry state. He was very thin, had no muscle and had, what we believe to be, pressure sores on his legs. It took some time to heal his wounds and start to gain weight and muscle but he is now starting to much look much brighter and healthier. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

6. Luna (Lurcher)
Luna is an intelligent, energetic and cheeky girl, looking for an experienced home who can keep up with her antics. She is a bundle of fun and a bit of a whirlwind who will keep her new family entertained for hours! She loves to play and will usually pick a ball to play with, however can get quite excited when playing and can, at times, become a little bit mouthy. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

7. Broono (Lack Russell Terrier Crossbreed)
Broono is a medium sized dog, suspect he may be a Jack Russell Terrier X Staffordshire Bull Terrier and certainly has the energy of both! He is an active and friendly lad who likes to live life in the fast lane. His owners will need to have lots of energy to keep up with him and a secure garden as he can jump quite high for his size! He hasn’t shown much interest in playing with toys, but absolutely loves going out for his walks and sniffing everything! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

8. Henrick (Dachshund)
Henrick is a very sweet little lad once he has gotten to know you. He can be shy when first meeting new people, but once he has gained his confidence is a great boy to spend time with. Henrick can be a noisy little lad at times, when he is bored or wants some attention, he isn’t afraid to use his voice to let you know. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
