The ferry was forced to suspended its service on Monday, January 13, as gusts of wind reached 40mph.

The service is running to its normal timetable today but has warned conditions may lead to suspensions.

A Nexus spokesman said: “We will monitor Storm Brendan throughout the day and we may have to suspend services if wind speeds are too high.”
