BBC weather presenter shares tip for tracking lightning as the region is hit with thunderstorms


As the North East was hit by heavy rain showers, along with thunder and lightning on Monday, May 10, the TV presenter shared her tip.
As the storms hit the region, BBC weather presenter Jen Bartram has shared on Twitter a way that members of the public can track the lightning as it hits the North East.

“http://Lightningmaps.org is a great site that can help you follow them in real time – the little yellow dots pop up every time lightning is detected."
