The Met Office is predicting a rise in temperatures over the next few days across the UK, with South Shields set to experience highs of 25°c.

The Met Office website says: “It should stay dry across the region with some good spells of sunshine. Feeling warm inland, but developing onshore breezes will keep coastal areas a little cooler.”

As we head into the weekend, the Met Office is predicting it to be slightly cooler however both Thursday and Friday are looking very warm.

11am to 1pm: Sunny, 19°c.

2pm to 4pm: Sunny, 20°c.

5pm: Sunny, 19°c.

6pm to 7pm: Sunny with cloudy spells, 19°c.

8pm: Cloudy, 19°c.

9pm to 11pm: Cloudy however looking to be a warm night, 20°c.
