I travel to Newcastle for work and I use Bede Metro station.
Overnight double yellow lines have been painted onto the road leading to the metro station, leaving even less space for those people who don’t live within walking distance of a metro station to park as there is not a dedicated parking area for the metro users.
I’m more annoyed at the fact that this leaves less space for the home and away supporters coming to South Shields Football Club,

I recently read in the Gazette that Geoff Thompson was talking of extending the ground to accommodate the supporters, if this is the support he gets from the council I would seriously consider looking for somewhere else.
