Steve Bruce hit by fresh injury blow at Newcastle United

Jonjo Shelvey is out for a month, according to a report.

The Newcastle United midfielder has suffered a hamstring strain according to the Daily Mail.

And the injury will reportedly keep Shelvey – who was “not right” last week, according to injury-hit head coach Steve Bruce – out until March.

Shelvey stands to miss at least five games.

The 27-year-old – who hopes to earn a new deal at the club – was troubled by a thigh problem last season.
