Ayoze Perez has a birthday message for Newcastle United

The club, formed when Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End merged, celebrated its 128th birthday today.

And Perez – who joined Leicester City last year in a £30million deal – tweeted a message to the club.

The forward posted four photographs from his time at St James’s Park, including one of the team with the Championship trophy, with the caption: “Happy 128th birthday, @NUFC. Great memories.”

Perez scored in Leicester’s 2-1 win over Sheffield United at the weekend.
