The post follows the news that the striker is OUT of Newcastle United’s last three games.

The club, which is now safe from the threat of relegation, revealed recently that Wilson suffered a hamstring injury in Friday night’s 4-2 win over Leicester City.

A club statement on Twitter read: “Callum Wilson will miss the final three games of the 2020/21 season after injuring his hamstring during Friday's win over Leicester City. Speedy recovery, @CallumWilson.”

But the England international striker took to Instagram following the news to share his thoughts.

“Frustrating way to end my first season at @nufc having to miss the last 2 weeks through injury, especially with our first home game of the season with fans coming up.

"I will be back stronger & hungrier next season with hopefully a full St James Park as I’m looking forward to meeting you all.”
