Crystal Palace rocked by major injury blow as key player ruled-out of Newcastle and Manchester United games
Patrick Vieira’s side host Manchester United tonight before Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United made the trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday evening. Palace have lost four of their five games in all competitions since domestic football returned following the Qatar World Cup and have a tough fixture schedule to come.
But the Eagles will have to attack these tough games to come without defender Joachim Andersen who has been ruled-out of action for three weeks with a calf-injury. Andersen was withdrawn from proceedings after just 38 minutes during their last outing against Chelsea.

Hide AdBefore being substituted against Chelsea, Andersen had completed all but one of Palace’s Premier League games this season. Since joining from Lyon last summer, Andersen has been a reliable option for Vieira in the heart of his defence with the 26-year-old racking up 57 appearances in just one and a half seasons at the club.
