DeAndre Yedlin set to call time on his Newcastle United career and join Galatasaray

The Newcastle United defender is out of contract at the club in the summer – and he had demanded “clarity” over his future this month.
"At this moment (I want) some clarity over whether Newcastle want me to stay or whether I can go," said Yedlin. "Whatever it is, it's something that needs to be talked about pretty quickly, because there's six months left on my contract.”

Hide AdESPN yesterday reported that a deal had been agreed between Newcastle and Galatasaray. The 27-year-old, it's reported, has been offered a three-and-a-half-year deal by the Istanbul club ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
The USA international, signed from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2016, had been starting games for Steve Bruce until an issue with his work permit saw him miss three Premier League fixtures. Bruce revealed on Friday that this problem had been resolved.
