Impressive drone footage captures the stunning South Shields firework display
Impressive drone footage shines a new angle on the impressive South Shields firework displays.
While crowds gathered along the South Shields seafront for a glimpse of the 2026 firework displays, impressive video footage has captured the show from a different angle.
Drone footage recorded by Steven Lomas on Sunday, November 1, showcases the impressive firework display from the air.

The South Shields photographer managed to capture the stunning display in the night sky, with a fully lit-up Ocean Beach Pleasure Park providing a colourful backdrop.
Crowds got to experience two displays on Sunday evening at 6pm and 8pm - with the event hosted by South Tyneside Council and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park.
The fireworks were set off from the area behind the skatepark, meaning that there wasn’t a bad view of the display along the entire promenade.
Despite a chilly evening by the coast as the borough welcomed in November, crowds were in good spirits as people of all ages turned out to get a glimpse of the displays.
