Newcastle United failed to end a 25-year run without a win at Anfield this afternoon as Sadio Mane (2) and Mo Salah ensured three points remained on Merseyside.
Steve Bruce’s men were priced at around 22/1 with some of the bookies before kick-off – and despite Jetro Willems’ best efforts, come the final whistle it was easy to see why.
